EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES

Inspiring the next generation of innovators and brilliant minds.

Education is a powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty and improving health, gender equality, peace, and stability. Yet, even though there has been great progress in the last decade, some 121 million children are still out of primary and lower secondary school, and 250 million children cannot read or write.

OUR FOCUS AREA

Technology & Innovation in Education

Our primary focus area has been inspired by The World Bank’s focus area on providing technology and innovation in children's education. As such, we support and enable schools in developing countries in providing new and innovative forms of support to technology to support teachers, students and the enable the learning process more broadly.

Technology should support teachers, not replace them. Technological innovations have the potential to increase learning, provided that they enhance, rather than circumvent, the teacher-learner relationship. Introducing new technologies will not replace teachers. In fact, experience from around the world shows us that, over time, teachers' roles become more central— and not peripheral— as a result of new technologies.

REDESIGNING THE CLASSROOM GROUND UP

The Invision Learning Center Project

Our foundation partners with K - 8 schools in rural areas and developing parts of India and select few countries that have very limited access to technology or do not have the capability to enable exposure to technology to its students through the Invision Learning Center Project

Rethinking the classroom experience. We work with schools to redesign an entirely new classroom experience from the ground up, equipped with technology, immersive learning experiences and introduces children to the latest technology innovations. Our specially designed curriculum exposes children to new forms of learning methods such as Augment and Virtual Reality. Our learning center is designed to provide a new experience and our initiative providing the basic understanding of the latest innovations to the future generation of our world.

We believe technology is changing the world and disadvantaged children in developing countries without access or exposure to technology will have a significant disadvantage in a future of knowledge-based economies and will hinder their chances of becoming the game changers of tomorrow.
